     South Florida gun dealers are reporting record sales in the aftermath of the Newtown massacre, as buyers are wary of the national gun control debate and are snapping up supplies, fearing another ban.       Foreclosure cases continue to clog court dockets with 32,000 pending foreclosures in Palm Beach County alone with no relief in sight, causing a backlog of thousands more and the state of Florida expects a half million foreclosures in the next two years.      It is being reported that the bankrupt Tribune Company, owner of the Sun-Sentinel, Orlando Sentinel and others, were interviewing bankers to sell its newspapers. Among those reported interested in purchasing them was Rupert Murdoch, Chairman of News Corporation, owner of the NY Post and others.
     Midwives are now being offered at both Boca Raton Regional Hospital and West Boca Medical Center as alternative birthing procedures.
     Starting today, volume of commercials on TV can no longer be any louder than the shows they are on.

     Baja Beach Club which opened Oct. 5 at Palmetto and Powerline Roads, has closed after a month of operations. No word yet on what will open there.
     Former FAU student Donald R. French, 25, was charged with running a $10 million Ponzi scheme that bilked about 50 victims who lost $1.3 million.
