Comcast is the worst company in the world with terrible customer service. If you have a choice of another provider, do yourself a favor and stay away from Comcast. Too many people have horror story examples of the incompetency of the customer service employees and so-called supervisors.

Hostess with the mostest Yvonne Boice hosted a reception for the Finnish Ambassador at Lucca’s in the Boca Resort & Club. Mayor Susan Welchell presented the key to the city with all council members in attendance, along with a plethora of VIP’s including World Trade Center President Al Zucaro, Jorge Pescuera, Palm Beach County Convention and Visitors Bureau honcho and Palm Beach State College prexy Dennis Gallion. An added surprise was a world famous jazz trio flown in from Finland just for the occasion. As usual for a Boice production, guests left with a goodie bag including information about Finland and other gifts.

Florida Atlantic University recently installed a web camera to document the highly anticipated construction of its 30,000-seat football stadium on the university’s Boca Raton campus. Viewers can catch the progress online at www.fau.edu/stadium/earthcam.html. The web cam posts a new snapshot every 15 minutes, which is immediately archived for remote viewing as far back as November 23, 2010, to gauge the progress that has been made. On any given day, the site allows viewers to enlarge the view, zoom in for a closer look or share it with others, as well as monitor the climate conditions on site.
