Hostess with the mostest Yvonne Boice hosted a reception for the Finnish Ambassador at Lucca’s in the Boca Resort & Club. Mayor Susan Welchell presented the key to the city with all council members in attendance, along with a plethora of VIP’s including World Trade Center President Al Zucaro, Jorge Pescuera, Palm Beach County Convention and Visitors Bureau honcho and Palm Beach State College prexy Dennis Gallion. An added surprise was a world famous jazz trio flown in from Finland just for the occasion. As usual for a Boice production, guests left with a goodie bag including information about Finland and other gifts.
The Office Depot headquarters on Military Trail in Boca has been sold. OD will remain a tenant.

FAU’s Living Room Theatre is showing the best of movies. This past week they opened Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale and Evangelion 1.0.
