The Palm Beach County Commission will ask voters in November to approve gaming in the County.
Boca Raton Regional Hospital has been accused by a former employee of defrauding Medicare of two million dollars in a lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court.

Sponsors of the bill that would allow for three mega-casinos are considering putting the state lottery under the control of a new statewide gaming commission. Republican state legislators pushing for new casinos in South Florida say they want to rein in the Florida Lottery. Sen. Ellyn Bogdanoff of Fort Lauderdale is one of the sponsors of the bill that would allow for three mega-casinos. She says she plans to change her bill so that the state lottery would be under the control of a new statewide gaming commission.
