Chair of the Lynn University Board of Trustees, Christine Lynn, has donated $500,000.00 to the university in honor of the 50th anniversary of the school.

Former Republican appointed Palm Beach County Tax Collector Peter Carney filed papers Tuesday, changing his registration to Democrat, to challenge incumbent Tax Collector Anne Gannon in the August Democratic primary.
Newly appointed State Attorney Peter Anonacci, will not run for the seat, paving the way for former State Senator and Drug Czar Dave Aronberg to run, literally unopposed as Republican Party Chief Sid Dinerstein conceded the difficulty of a Republican to win a county wide seat.
SouthTech Academy Seniors, Jeanice Martinez and Juan Guerrero, competed against 1,700 students in the state DECA competition and will be advancing to the International competition in Salt Lake City.
