    Florida Atlantic University signed a marketing partnership with Sunrise Sports & Entertainment, the company that runs the BB&T Center in Sunrise. SSE will seek events, such as concerts, for the 29,419-seat GEO Group Stadium, an open-air venue in Boca Raton. The stadium is home to FAU Owls football. SSE also has the option of selling the naming rights to FAU Arena, the home of its basketball and volleyball teams.

     Boca Pointe equity members approved the sale of 14 acres to the Siemens group to develop 100 new townhouses on the property east of Powerline Road. After the other homeowners approve to change the documents from recreational use to housing, it will go before the County.
     Sal Saldana was named Boca Town Center manager with Brian Nelson moving to a regional post in Orlando, and plans to upgrade the monument sign entrances, add a water fountain at the Grand Lux Cafe entrance and black poles with finials to replace directional signs as well as creating two signature seating areas at the Palm Court in Bloomingdales and Center Court at Neiman Marcus, along with a new higher level concierge services area.
